We have a camping group of 8 -10 camping friends..we all have been coming here for the past 8 or more years right after Christmas
We useally stay through new years..they use to do fireworks..not anymore..now thwy did away with weekly rates..sorry we wont be coming back..no new amenities..didnt have much anyways..charging more money..not worth what they charge now..no loyalty to any customers..we will be seeking elsewhere to camp..sad..they lost a chunk of customers!!! The staff inside didnt even seem to care..so if thats the case..bye..bye
We have a 5th wheel toy hauler and we come here to ride the trails. I think the trails are awesome, the only thing is that they are not 1 way - so you have to always be extremely cautious. We have been coming here for a couple of years now and I can honestly say I have not had a bad time/experience here. We typically come with a few friends and they bring their RV's as well. The staff has always been able to accommodate us with the buddy camping. The place is clean and looks nice. They do have full hook ups and I have never had an issue, the staff has always been kind, polite and professional with us. We have a trip booked in a few weeks and look forward to our stay!
Mixed feelings on this location. Staff are mostly polite, but the atmosphere is uncanny. I noticed some unprofessional behavior and feel there could be changes made to better accommodate travelers.
Went for the second year with a group of friends to ride Dirtbikes, and this place was very disappointing this year under new ownership.
My tent campsite had foot long grass, no shade, and was on a slope.
We had an altercation with another group of campers where their daughter was hit by a pool ball on accident by our son, and her father assaulted him. He then came to our campsite with 3 friends to fight us so we were forced to call the police and security who did nothing and left telling us we couldn't go around their campsite and the shower/pool area because they were next to it. Thus making us have to use the restroom outside. The drunk group then played their music as loud as possible all night long. The security didn't enforce the noise curfew, so we didn't sleep for 2 nights.
The management refused to refund our money or offer any concessions or rebate. I am so disappointed that I will never stay at a KOA ever again. We have hosted our group ride events here for 3 years and bring dozens of friends who will also not be staying at KOA resorts in the future. Don't go here!
My very first KOA campground and got to say won’t be my last. The staff was friendly and helpful and they have security in the night which was a plus. The amenities were great.
This park is beautiful, the RV sites are well equipped and the park has night time security who is definitely watching everything. No concern at all when leaving out vehicle and camper while on the trails which by the way are right across the street from the park. We will return to this park
We go every year to this place and they're under new management again because they can't keep a good one. This year management didn't do anything to help us with an altercation of other drunk Campers when one of their kids got accidently hurt by one of ours. He came over rude and yelling and would not leave us alone. Called cops and the cops and security guard did nothing but tell us we can't use the bathroom/pool or recroom because they were beside it. We paid for a premium site to have those luxuries and they were taken away because the other party wanted to fight. How is that fair to us? We asked for a refund and were told no contact support and support says only managers can refund so we are out over $160 and didn't get to enjoy the rest of our stay!!! Will never return again and we hold events there every year! Huge disappointment KOA.
Great place. Friendly staff. Lots of ATVs but they were quiet after dark. Great camping spot.
